Good Evening Titans!

We hope you’ve enjoyed a restful Fall Break. The Weekly Update is below. This week Varsity Soccer heads to the playoffs and XC heads to their final meet of the season!

Congratulations to our Middle School Soccer Team! They brought home the 2nd place trophy after a hard fought game against the undefeated Swift School. The game went into extra time and was won through penalty kicks.

Upcoming Games

Join our Varsity Soccer Athletes at Silverbacks Park for the 1st Round of Playoff action on Wednesday, 10/11 at 4:45pm!

The MS and Varsity XC Teams will compete in their final Meet on Thursday 10/12 at Mill Springs Academy! We invite you to come cheer them on as they take their last run of the season.

Home Soccer games are hosted at Silverbacks Park and are FREE for all attending. Fields are just an 8 minute drive from Tapestry!

Fee Payment

Sports Dues for the 2023-2024 season are $200 per student. We are also offering a multi-sport discount for our athletes. The first sport is $200, second sport is $150 and a third sport is $100. Additionally, we are offering a sibling discount of 10%. Each additional sibling playing any sport is eligible for this discount. Please email [email protected] if you have questions.

We are excited to offer a one stop shop for student fees this year! Fees will be collected using MyMealOrder.com, the same program we use for school lunch. Please login or sign up for a school account at MyMealOrder.com Once logged in, click Fees and Activities at the top and then click the icon for your sport to make your payment! Use the drop down list at the top left to toggle between the students in your Family. Rosters have been added, please email the team if your student is not listed!

Gym Repairs

Please note that a large portion of the Gym will be closed for repairs this week ( 10/9-10/13). We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete some much needed repairs and upgrades to the gym floor, basketball hoops, and lobby.

If you are available to help with light cleaning and repairs, power washing, baseboard cleaning and painting on Saturday 10/14, please email [email protected]

Volleyball

-Team will only practice this week at Coach Porter’s discretion based on the playoff rankings. See Coach for updates on Tuesday!

-No Volleyball games this week.

Cheerleading

-All Cheer will practice Tuesday and Thursday (10/10 and 10/12)

-Varsity ONLY practice on Friday 10/13.

Soccer

-Varsity will practice on Tuesday 3:45-6:00pm

-Varsity is ranked 1st in the AAC and will host the Playoff game on Wednesday 10/11 vs. #4 The Cottage School at 4:45pm on Stadium Field 3. Students will be transported via DCSD School Bus.

-We encourage all Titan Fans to bring their Pompoms, signs, noise makers, and loudest cheers to support the team on Wednesday. Let’s wear RED and show our league how LOUD we can be in Titan Territory!

Cross Country (XC)

-Team will practice Tuesday and Wednesday this week

-The final APAC and AAC Meets will be held Thursday 10/12 at Mill Springs Academy.

Basketball

-Final Open Gym date, Tuesday 10/10 4:00-5:15pm.

-Middle School Final tryout date is Thursday 10/12. Every MS student who wishes to tryout for Basketball must attend from 3:45-5:15pm. NO EXCEPTIONS! Students who do not attend, arrive late or leave early will be ineligible. Report to Coach Askew in the Gym Lobby.

-Girls Basketball Final tryout date is Thursday 10/12. Every girl in grades 6-12 who wishes to tryout for Basketball must attend from 3:45-5:15pm. NO EXCEPTIONS! Students who do not attend, arrive late or leave early will be ineligible. Report to Coach Porter’s room.

-Varsity Final tryout date is Friday 10/13. Every HS student who wishes to tryout for Basketball must attend from 3:45-5:15pm. NO EXCEPTIONS! Students who do not attend, arrive late or leave early will be ineligible. Report to Coach Boone’s room.

-Students should be working to complete their BINGO and Check In/Check Out sheets.
