Weekly Update 11/12

Good Evening Students & Families!

Basketball Season continued with interconference play for all 3 teams last week.

Middle School Boys squeaked by Mill Springs Academy 26-23 led by Landon K. and Victor I., with 6 points each!

Varsity Boys also got an easy 63-38 win over Mill Springs Academy, led by Kingston W. with 24 points and Austin S. with 12 points.

The Lady Titans fell short against MSA, but continue to overcome obstacles and grow in gameday experience!

Upcoming Games

Middle School travels to Atlanta Area School for the Deaf for their first away game this week. Varsity welcomes the Chamblee High School Bulldogs to Titan Territory on Thursday for the first DCSD matchup in recent Tapestry history! The Lady Titans are on break until after the Thanksgiving holiday.

All Home Basketball games are FREE for Tapestry Students. Games are $5 for adults. We encourage all fans to wear their best Titan Red!

Fee Payment

Fees for Fall Sports (Volleyball, Soccer & XC) are now OVERDUE! Winter Sports Fees (Cheer & Basketball) are due now!

Sports Dues for the 2023-2024 season are $200 per student. We are also offering a multi-sport discount for our athletes. The first sport is $200, second sport is $150 and a third sport is $100. Additionally, we are offering a sibling discount of 10%. Each additional sibling playing any sport is eligible for this discount. Please email [email protected] if you have questions.

We are excited to offer a one stop shop for student fees this year! Fees will be collected using MyMealOrder.com, the same program we use for school lunch. Please login or sign up for a school account at MyMealOrder.com Once logged in, click Fees and Activities at the top and then click the icon for your sport to make your payment! Use the drop down list at the top left to toggle between the students in your Family. Rosters have been added, please email the team if your student is not listed!

Gym Repairs

Our new Scoreboard is IN! Huge thanks to our Donors and Tapestry’s Facilities Team for their help getting this huge piece of our upgrades done! We hope you’ll come see it in person for a home game!

Gym repairs and upgrades are ongoing! We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue the work of making our gym a safe and fun place for our Athletes!

Middle School Basketball

-UPDATED GAMEDAY SCHEDULES ARE LINKED BELOW!

-MS Basketball will practice Monday & Wednesday this week (11/13 & 11/15) 3:30-5:30pm

-The Middle School will travel to AASD on Tuesday via School provided transportation. We expect to depart campus at 2:45pm. Game Time is 4pm. Please wash and bring your temporary uniform!

-Middle School will play a second game vs. William & Reed Academy on Thursday 11/16. TipOff is 4:30pm

-Athletes should bring their temporary uniforms for Tuesday’s game. New Uniforms are expected to arrive on Friday!
